Being passionate about animals and their rights is an understatement. I remember people asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up and the answer was always the same: I want to be a Marine Biologist or an Animal protector.
I was born and raised in Ecuador. Moved to the USA when I was 17 years old. I worked in the Financial industry field for over 17 years. I also had the pleasure of being a volunteer for AWARE, a wildlife rehabilitation center, for 8+ years. For almost a year, I worked at AWARE as a Wildlife Care Supervisor.
Thanks to my husband’s support and encouragement I decided to leave the financial industry and pursue my passion to work with animals by opening our family business. We relocated to the north Georgia mountains to be surrounded by nature, which makes it the ideal place for your pet to relax.
My husband and I love the outdoors and try to hike, camp, backpack, paddleboard and travel when we get the chance.
After we lost our 3 beloved pets, we suffered from “empty nest syndrome” and weren’t sure if we were ready for another dog. Despite this, fate had other plans for us. In early March 2023, we found out about a beagle pup that had been abandoned at a church’s doorstep. My husband immediately set up a meet and greet with our amazing LuAnn Chambers, who runs the shelter in our neighborhood.
Now, Toby is not only part of our family but he also is All Aboard’s ambassador and senior chief executive.
