ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

A great story is only as good as the people that contribute to it. It could not take shape if it weren’t for the abundant support, encouragement, and lessons provided along the way.  All of this has allowed for this dream to turn into a reality. As with everything else, however, it takes many steps to walk any road.

My career in finance taught me to be proactive, independent, resourceful, organized and a multi-tasker. The people I have met throughout the years have been crucial in multiple phases of my life. 

Volunteering and working for AWARE taught me to never give up on my dreams (no matter how hard or unattainable they might seem). It confirmed what I thought to be true, working with animals is undoubtedly my calling.

To my caring and loving family. I have no doubt that the excess love I feel for animals comes from my mother’s unconditional love towards her daughters. I owe the discipline to keep my goals in check to my dad’s wisdom & perseverance. Immense gratitude to my sister and nephew for the infinite words of encouragement that kept me going when I felt discouraged.

I also want to give a huge thanks to my husband. His support, love, encouragement and positive vibes made all of this possible. Thank you for all your help and for believing in me.
